Sasha (Oleksandra) Lavrenchuk was born in 1982 in Kyiv. Since March 2022, she has been living with her two children in Munich. Sasha has been writing poetry since the age of four and has published several collections (in Ukraine). Her pornstar have appeared in Literaturportal Bayern and in the “Water-Stone Review” (USA), and were nominated for the Pushcart Prize. She has worked as a television editor, a member of TV series writing teams, and a translator. Lavrenchuk has directed two short films. Is part of the artistic trio “SchoDeNikoly” (Iryna Ozarinska, Kirill Alferyev, Sasha Lavrenchuk), that presented its works in Berlin, Venice and Augsburg. She has performed at the following poetry events in Munich: “Borderlines” (curated by “The Artist and the Others”), “Meine Drei Lyrischen Ichs,” and “Kollaborationen” (2023, 2024, 2025). A collection of poems translated by Karin Felner is currently being prepared for publication in Munich (Hochrot Verlag).
