Nansý Sunadóttir (b. 1997) is a Faroese poet and librarian. She studied Faroese Language and Literature and works at the National Library of the Faroe Islands. Before publishing her first book, she contributed poems to the literary magazine Varðin.

Her debut poetry collection, Eg hvessi mær knívin, eg komi heim (2024), explores gender, youth, and self-harm through a striking poetic language in which the knife becomes a central image. Rather than depicting violence alone, the collection searches for beauty, comfort, and hope in vulnerability, offering a quiet but determined act of resistance. The book received the EBBA Award in 2025.

In 2026, the collection was published in German as ich schärfe mein Messer, ich kehre heim by Parasiten Presse, translated by Theresa Kohlbeck Jakobsen. The same year, Sunadóttir received a grant from the Thorvald Poulsen av Steinum Foundation.
